Dear artist-friends,
The Unsafe House is putting out an OPEN CALL to every artist whose work is ignored by short-haired lesbian curators, cowardly mentors, or dumb professors. This is your chance to get the attention they never gave you.
As you know, art institutions are a black, fluorescent, pearly, throbbing, cancerous, amorphous, bile.
So starting now — and for as long as it takes — we’re inviting YOU, the artists, to share your work with us.
Whether you're young, rejected, ignored, or even established but confused, we want to see what you've got. No pretension. No gatekeeping. Just real work from real artists.
Artist Tarik Sadouma will be reviewing your submissions in a new video series, so we can replace the WOKE FILTH calling itself an art world with beautiful, dark enlightened splendour.
We’ll create review videos of the submissions we receive, which will be published on YouTube and across our social media channels.
Give us an idea of the work you want to share, and we’ll provide you with additional information.
Unless it concerns digital work or photography, we will want to see the work IRL. We will discuss how to organize that depending on your situation.
