MEMETHOLOGY (exhibition)
In this exhibition we show the work by Tarik Sadouma and The Unsafe House, showing the visual and poetic foundation for its continually growing mythology.
Our Mythology was initially expressed by Sadouma in a psychotic set of memes from the perspective of his alter ego Jaafar El-Hazred, which he created during the first years of Covid. This exhibition gives an insight in how these first digital works continue to inspire and drive our practice.
We welcome you to visit the exhibition opening on Saturday, October 31 (Halloween). At 19:30 we will say a word about the works and allow you to look around. After 21:00 we’ll turn on some music to get us dancing.
Free drinks between 19:00 and 21:00, party till we can.

SCREENING PODCAST EDWARD LUTTWAK VS. CURTIS YARVIN
A year ago Tarik and Ruth visited Washington D.C. for a myriad of things. One of them was to set up an interview between Curtis Yarvin, probably now known by the most of you - either as spiritual father of DOGE, or as king of Urbit, from his Grey Mirror blog, or as loyal collaborator to the Unsafe House - and grand strategist Edward Luttwak, a legend of another creed. This interview will be screened at The Unsafe House in Amsterdam Noord, and there will be and a short introduction and after talk by Tarik. after the screening you are welcome to have a drink, hang around a bit to discuss, and admire our beautiful new studio space (which is currently still in its buildup phase, but gorgeous nonetheless). We’re looking forwards to having you over.
We ask you to pay a small amount, just so we have a bit of insurance you’ll come, and this will also get you a free drink upon entrance. Entrance is free for subscribers, and if it applies to you, you’ll receive an email with the discount code. Send us an email if you experience any trouble.

Het Literaire Schaduw bal
Let op: het adres van het evenement is gewijzigd naar H.J.E. Wenckebachweg 49F, 1096 AK Amsterdam.
