We are not interested in cancelling or marginalizing anyone for their opinions or world views- no matter how heretical, radical, silly, impractical, anodyne, conservative, reactionary, traditional, or progressive those views may be. We are totally against the stultification of the art world as we see it now, dominated by piety and humorless authoritarianism and puritanism. We reject all demands for conformism of the “left” or the “right”.

We reject the conformist strictures of the contemporary art world, which is sadly dominated by those more interested in imposing their political values than in making good art. We believe that “progressive” values are often a smoke screen for the imposition of authoritarian social credit systems.

Instead, we aim to sustain a space in which grievances, obsessions, and dark inclinations are not suppressed, but are instead used as an engine and material for creation. We believe that art comes from strange places within. We also believe that the creation of art implies the capacity to exert control over our deepest urges. The sublimation of those urges is the path to understanding the eternal.  We strive to find beauty everywhere - even within ugliness.
